Barefoot Nature Doctor Creative Wellness Retreat


We invite you to retreat from the stress, pollution and pressure of modern living and reconnect with your vibrant, slim and relaxed self.

Experienced health practitioners will facilitate your journey to dynamic wellness in a six day Detox programme.

This unique programme initiates changes through:

  • Creative therapeutic processes

The vegetarian detox diet is specially designed to help the body let go of stored toxins and excess weight.  Using whole, organic, pure, ingredients, it starts with a day’s juice fast and Vitamin C flush and progresses to nutritious soups salads and meals.

Daily exercise includes walking, yoga, tai chi and dance (based on Gabrielle Roth’s 5 Rhythms Dance). These are conducted with sensitivity to each individual’s level of fitness experience and ability.

Guests will receive daily holistic treatment recommended by the health practitioners. These include Craniosacral Therapy, Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Massage and Meridian balancing.

The effects of this detox programme are enhanced by specially devised creative therapeutic processes. Participants are encouraged to explore and integrate their experiences through the mediums of journaling, dream work, story telling, painting and movement.
